Born in Belgium, I grew up in a musical family, having 2 brothers who played piano, violin & cello. I played the guitar from age 8-18, but developed a taste for electronic music in my teenage years. It started with hip-hop when I first heard 2001. Later Eminem & Snoop Dogg became some of my favorite artists. However, I was still exploring horizons and when Special Cases from Massive Attack played through my radio I was completely sold. At the age of 18 I started going out to clubs more often and found a passion in electro, which started with Miss Kittin & The Hacker, techno from Laurent Garnier and electro-rock like Digitalism. I then became a fan of softer minimal techno a la trentemøller and Extrawelt . Later I also enjoyed DJ sets from Adam Beyer, Gabriel Ananda, Sascha Funke, Green Velvet, among others.
When I finished high school, I got hit by a car and ended up in a coma with brain damage. After 1 week on the ICU, I was transferred to the inpatient department and a couple of weeks later I was back home already. Despite the post-traumatic chronic headache, concentration & memory issues, I tried to go to college 2 months later. When that didn't work out, I prepared myself for the music producer school. Unfortunately, I failed the admission test. That didn't stop me from producing though! This is my passion. My escape from reality. Headphones on, world off.
